North Arkansas College / Nursing Program:"An Associate of Applied Science Degree in
Nursing, the RN program is accredited by
the National League for Nursing (NLN), approved
by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing and
prepares students to take the licensure examination
for registered nurse. The program extends
over two academic years. A class is admitted
each fall."
North Carolina A&T State University /
School of Nursing (BSN):"The School of Nursing offers a program leading
to the Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
The school is organized into lower and upper
divisions. The first two academic years
or lower division of the program encompass
the core requirements of the University and

of Nursing (LPN, AAS):"Successful completion of the Practical Nursing
course of study leads to a Certificate of
Achievement, and eligibility to make application
to take the examination for licensure as
a Licensed Practical Nurse. Completion of
the Practical Nursing course of study DOES
NOT ASSURE admission into the Associate Degree
Nursing Program. Students must apply for
entry into this program and compete with
all other applicants of that year. Since
the Practical Nursing Program and the Associate
Degree Nursing Program are separate programs,
